A warm and hearty welcome to everyone present here.

I , Daksh Singh Tanwar a student of class XII feel incredible joy in welcoming you all on the occasion of our Annual Function ‘The Columbian Rhapsody’.

Honourable Chief guest, other esteemed guests, dignitaries and beloved parents.

‘Life is a journey, the path we take, what we look back, and what we look to is up to us. We determine our destination’.

It has indeed been a long and enriching journey of 24 years. At the outset, on behalf of all Columbians,I would like to show our gratitude to our respected Chairman Sir Mr Rishi Choudhary who continues to guide and inspire us to reach higher goals every year.Today the school has proved to be one of the prestigious & renowned institutions in Faridabad. We duly appreciate the tremendous co-operation on the part of everyone associated with this institution, without whom  reaching such a height would not have been possible.

Starting with the School Excellence Award, Our school was being awarded for the “Best School with Excellence in Education” on January 11, 2025 in the 21st edition of Indian School Awards. The award was presented by Arjuna  Awardee and Olympic medallist, Ms.Geeta Phogat.

We are extremely delighted to share that our  School Director Ms.Sangeeta Bhati was conferred by the prestigious “Best School of the Year 2025” award at the Rising Bharat Summit & Awards held on September 21,2025,by the esteemed guest Mr. Sonu Sood, the famous Indian actor and producer.

Another prestigious chapter was added in the history of Columbus when Mr. Sumit Choudhary, the Vice Chairman of the school was felicitated with Guru Samman Jagran Edu Solv Award on 18th September 2025 organised by Dainik Jagran.

The school has been victorious in the International Triangular Series in Dubai,2011&2022, SriLanka2012, Moscow 2013, Nepal2014, Singapore 2017 & Malaysia 2019 & 2024.

It was a moment of great pride when Naina Chaudhary, Shristi Thakur, Alisha Palai and Naina along with the Director, Ms.Sangeeta Bhati got the privilege to visit and tie the sacred Band of Love to Our Honourable President Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji and Our Defence Minister Shri. Rajnath Singh Ji on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

We feel highly elated to declare that in class XII out of Three hundred and seven , Akshra Rana  scored 98.20 %in Humanities stream , Chinmay Khandelwal excelled with 96.2 % in Commerce stream and Abni Rana scored 96 % in Science stream. We also feel delighted to have more than 35 students scoring above 95% in different subjects.

In X out of Three hundred and eight Aadhya Jha scored 96.2%,Shruti Roy scored 95.4% And Shaurya Tripathi scored 94.8%.Along with this we also feel proud to share that Shruti Roy and Shaurya Tripathi scored 100 out of 100 in IT.

I congratulate all the authorities,teachers and my dear friends who have been instrumental in this stupendous achievement.

A felicitation ceremony was organized by Sahodaya School Complex, Faridabad. The event, titled ‘SahodayaUtkrishtShikshakPuraskaar’ was awarded to our Respected Principal Ms. Shreelekha VM&Ms. Anuradha D Choudhary for their remarkable efforts in advancing and fostering the all – round development of students. MrBagirathPrajhapatiwas awarded for his commendable job in the school’s achievements.

Priyanshu Raj Shrivastavascored Second Rank in Orange Global Olympiadand was awarded with a cash price of 21 Thousand.

Sanskriti Singh of XB was rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-for Letter Writing competition 2025,at the Universal ,Postal Union International Event organized by department of posts, Government of India.

Sarfraz Khan of IX E participated in Shri Sanjay Aggarwal Memorial All India Open Classical Chess Tournamentunder 15 and won a cash prize of 7000.

The school got the opportunity to visitMr.ChiragPaswanJi,Cabinet Minister, Government of India to celebrate the festival of Janmashtami with him.

In a bid to augment our school’s accomplishments and nurture leadership qualities among students, our institution dispatched a delegation to ‘RAJNAYA 2025’ at Modern VidyaNiketan, Aravali Hills, Faridabad. Our school was adjudged ‘The Best School Delegation’ for its outstanding performance at the event. Sparsh Singh was conferred the title of ‘Best Delegate’, while SarthakSamothra received ‘High Commendation’. Chitranshi, Palak, and Aditi garnered ‘Special Mention’, and Trisha Shrivastava, Daksh Singh Tanwar, Mayank Singh Chauhan, RadhikaJha, ShrutiYadav were awarded ‘Verbal Mention’.

DakshadityaRao of XII B bagged Gold Medal in “ Indian open MMA Championship in Youth A-83.9 k Category” organized by sports association of Mixed Martial Art.

At the 3rd Falcon Open Shooting Championship 2025 our 7 students- RohitAggarwal, Dhairya Gaur, PalakPanday, Archi, Abhinav Mishra, Harshul, and Devansh – Brought laurels to the school by winning 3 Gold, 3 Silver and one Bronze medal.

RohitAggarwal of XI E won Gold Rifle Sub Youth and was qualified for the National Level.

National BalBhavan, ITO Delhi conducted NATIONAL OPEN ROLLER SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP – 2025 where ShantanuChaudhary of class VIII B won Gold Medal under 14 category,GarvitBaghelof class VII C won Silver medal under 13 category, DarshBhadanaof class III G won Gold Medal inunder 9 categoryin ARTISTIC Event.

ANVI of class  IIIC won Gold Medal in Speed Inline under 8-10 categoryat TarunNiketan Public School in Open Roller Skating Championship – 2025

Samaksh Kumar of class  VlC won Gold Medal &YatharthMaurya of class XI C won Bronze Medal under -55 kg categoryin Faridabad District Taekwondo Championships 2025 at DPSG Faridabad.

TanmayKashyap made us proud by winning two Gold Medals in the Shining Star Championship 2025 held at Sai Badminton Academy,Faridabad.

HridayBatra has proudly clinched the Gold Medal  in the Under 15–17 category at the North India Karate-Do Championship 2025, held at AmbalaCantt, Haryana.

YatharthMaurya of Class XI-C has won the Silver Medal under the Junior Category in the 2nd Haryana State Open Taekwondo Challenge Cup 2025-2026, held at DefenceSports Academy.

The St, Columbus School organizes a number of inter-house competitions throughout the year. It also celebrates different festivals to inculcate team spirit and understanding of culture amongst students.

Our school conducts various workshops and seminars for teachers from time to time to update them on the latest child psychology and modern teaching methodologies and to keep them aligned with current educational trends.

And, yes! This commitment is rooted in our core philosophy:

In conclusion, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty for blessing us with the opportunity to be a part of the Columbian family. I am deeply thankful to all the teaching and non-teaching staff for their constant dedication and to the esteemed gathering for their unwavering support throughout our journey of growth and success. Your encouragement inspires us to strive higher each day.
