St. Columbus School started its journey towards the field of education in the year 2001, with the motto to “spread the knowledge to one and all, in a decade it has risen from 200 to more than 4000 students. Today, the school has proved to be one of the prestigious & renowned institutions in Faridabad. It is all possible because of the commitment, resilience and persistent dedication of our esteemed and honorable Chairman Sir, Mr. Rishi Chaudhary who displayed to see his vision of providing access to quality education. Our heartfelt reverence to sir , for being such a great and exceptional leader, managing the entire school and us distinctively. We duly appreciate the tremendous co-operation on the part of everyone associated with this institution, the staff members and the parents without whom reaching at such a height would not have been possible.
On behalf of Columbians, we would take this opportunity to brief you about the amazing academic flair we have had so far… This year as well the students have excelled in their Board Exams. AKSHRA RANA of class X scored 96.6%, ADITI PRIYADARSHI scored 96.2% and HEENA PARVEEN and PIYUSH KUMAWAT scored 95.8%. Along with this we also feel proud to share that 22 students scored 100 out of 100 in I.T and 3 students scored 99 in S.Sc.
From class XII, the toppers , SATYAM KUMAR RAI scored 94 % in Science stream. From Commerce we have BHUMI topping with 94 % and in Humanities stream, BHOOMI NAGAR scored 96 %..We also have many students scoring more than 95% in different subjects.
Apart from preparing the children for academic demands, the school gives emphasis in preparing the children to face the challenges of the competitive world.
It was a moment of immense pride, as in the entire Faridabad, St. Columbus school got the opportunity to visit the residence of Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi Ji on August 30, 2023 on Raksha Bandhan. A Columbian, Manya Rana recited the song“Bharat Humko Jaan Se Pyara Hain” in front of him. Impressed by her articulation, Shri Narendra Modi ji suggested the Columbians that they should make this song a part of daily routine. Besides, the Columbians also tied the sacred thread to the Defense Minister of India Shri Rajnath Singh and took a pledge with him for the unity and integrity of the country.
St. Columbus School tied Rakhi on the wrists of the Police Officers on 29 August 2023, who are the real heroes of our country. Around 30 students along with the staff members, Head Boy Kartik Babu Yadav and Head Girl Akshara Rana visited Commissioner’s Office and Suraj Kund Police station, Faridabad to tie the knot of protection on the wrists of Shri Rakesh Kumar Arya (IPS) Commissioner of Police, Mr. Balraj Singh, S.H.O and other Police officers.
The Columbians, went to bestow colour on 8th March, 2023 at the residence of Shri. Raj Nath Singh (Our Honorable Defence Minister),Shri Manoj Tiwari, Bhojpuri cine star Amrapali , Dr. Harshvardhan Singh and Shri. Ravi Shankar Prasad.
One of our Sr. teachers Ms Kevti Gakkher was awarded with ‘Sahodya Shikshak Puraskar’ in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the field of Education by Shri Biplab Kumar Deb, member of Rajya Sabha, and the former Chief Minister of Tripura on 30th Sep, 2023.
Orange Global Organization conducted Olympiad competition at Ambedkar International Centre. Divyansh Tripathi of class XI-B participated in this prestigious exam and secured IVth rank out of the top 100 National Achievers at the National Level. He has been awarded with a cash prize of rupees 25000. Another gem Jijnasu Mallick of class V-C secured IXth rank and has been awarded a cash prize of rupees 1000.
The School celebrated its another colourful event on 02.09.2023 as Janmashtami with mirth and joy. Former Botany Lecturer, NEET Coach and presently Mentor of ISCKON Girls Forum, Faridabad Ms. Pragati Singla along with Dr. Neha Bhati BDS, MDS from Maulana Azad Medical College were the Chief Guests on this auspicious occasion.
The Columbians brought laurels to the school by participating in an Inter School Dance Competition organized by “International Society for Krishna Conscious” held on August 3, 2023 at Iscon Temple, Sec 37, Faridabad on the occasion of “Krishna Janmotsav”. The Columbians bagged second position in the Semi-Classical dance performance on the famous song “Adhram Madhuram” and won the hearts of the jury.
RADHAASHTAMI UTSAV drawing and painting competition was organised by GOPAL SANSKRITIK KALA MANDAL on 24thSep.2023 at Vrindavan Grand. Shreyansh Chauhan of I A, Atiksh Gusain of VII E and Bhumika Chaudhary of IX A scored Ist Position and Himani Kamilya of IX F was awarded with 3rd Position.
SRS International School, Sector 88, Faridabad organized Thitholi – Hasya Kavita competition on Saturday, July 22,2023 Shiya Shree Mahapatra, a grade 8th student and Anshika Agarwal of VI- F tickled the funny bone and brought a smile on the faces of the audience and made our school proud by bagging the second and third position respectively.
Chess Championship 2023 of Faridabad district was organized on April 16, by Faridabad Chess Association for the age group under 7 to 19 at Manaskriti School, Sec. 82 Faridabad. The winners Drishti Rawat, Kaustubh Thakur, Akansha Thakur, Aditya Rawat and Mohit Kumar were congratulated for their competitive spirit and for their accolades.
Inter Matrix Open Group B Chess Tournament 2023 was conducted by Matrix Chess Academy on 27 Nov.2023. Shoaib Khan of 2nd C & Sohail Khan of 4th C scored the first position , Sarfraz Khan scored 8th position and Sania Khan was awarded with second position respectively.
Triangular Cricket Series was organized by S. S. Global School and RPS Green Valley, Sarai Faridabad on 25th March 2023. Columbians marvelously chased the score by securing 243 and qualified into the finals and battled between Young Star Cricket Academy. The Runner up trophies were bagged along with Man of series , Best Bowler and fighter of the Match. The shining stars of the above were Shrestha Bhadana , Bhumit Chauhan and Ayush Bhadana.
A grand and thrilling Basket Ball Tournament was organized in the heart of Delhi By Brain International School, Vikas Puri. Bronze Medal was successfully grabbed in the first round against the Tikhon Vihar Academy. In the final match against Blue Angel Public School, Vikas Puri , the Columbians bagged the Bronze Medal under 14 category.
Inter-School Kabaddi Championship2023-24, under-17 and under 60 KG Category was organized on May 19, 2023 by St. Columbus School in its playground… The Columbians bagged the second position in the event. Karan Bhadana was declared to be The best – raider of the tournament.
The school organized a number of Inter House Competitions throughout the year pertaining to Salad Making Competition, English Poem Recitation Competition, Radio Jockey, English Solo Singing Competition, Hindi Poem Recitation Competition, Shlokocharan Competition, Hindi Doha Gyan Competition, Hindi and English Calligraphy Competition, Puppet Show Competition , Best Holiday Home Work, etc.to encourage team spirit and understanding of culture among students.
The School also celebrated Ganesh Chathurthi, Onam, Teej, Basant Panchami, Diwali, Kargil Vijay Diwas etc.in the school premises amidst much fan fare involving staff and management of the school.
To mark the spirit of patriotism and reminiscing the indomitable spirits of our freedom fighters the school, celebrated 77th Independence Day on 12th August, 2023 with great pomp and splendor . The Chief Guest to embellish the event was Ms. Shikha, the Joint Commissioner, MCF.

Republic Day was celebrated on 25th January, 2023. The Chief Guest to embellish the event was Mr. Kailash Baisla, BJP Councillor, Faridabad and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Gajendra Singh, Director, Aaina Builders & Real Estates.
Van Mahotsav was celebrated on July 8, 2023 in the school premises. The motto of the event was to create awareness about the importance of greener environment among the students. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed guests, Mrs. Vikal Lohia, the District Coordinator, WCD, Faridabad and Mrs. Monika, the Supervisor, WCD, Faridabad.
The school organized a quiz on Road Safety, conducted by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways,the Government of India on 13th October 2023.
Keeping in view the importance of yoga for a healthy lifestyle, the school, organized Yoga Day for students of all ages.

The school celebrated its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2023-2024 on July 21, 2023. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr.Abhimanyu Goyat,the ACP Badkal and ACP-Cyber, Faridabad, Haryana and the Guest of Honour, Ms. Meenu Gupta, Chairperson, Sky Map Pharmaceuticals. The Head Boy Kartik Babu Yadav, Head Girl Akshra Rana , Saubhagya Kumar and Diya Sarkar were appointed as Discipline Incharges.
Tathastu and Chhavi were awarded with the badges of Sports Captain and Sports Vice-Captain respectively. Piyush Rexwal and Aditi Priyadarshi were elected as the Head Prefects.
Some students always stay forward in their achievements and execute the duties assigned to them, so we congratulate Aditi Priyadarshi for being selected as the best prefect and Rohit Kumar and Vaishnavi Jha for the Star of the year.
Fancy dress competition provides a great learning experience for the students and gives them a platform to explore their talent. Few to list are Chandrayan-3,Astronaut,Iron man, Indira Gandhi etc.
Teacher’s Day programme was followed by the felicitation of teachers for their outstanding performance in different fields for the session 2022-2023.Ms. Pratibha Sharma, Ms. Anita Mishra, Ms.Reena Malhotra and Ms. Swati Singh Pawar were honoured with the “Best Teacher” award from the senior, middle and junior wing respectively
The School organized its 19 th Annual Athletic Meet with the same flamboyant spirit from 8th February, 2023 to 10th February, 2023.The guests to grace the occasion were Mr. Sumit Singla, Institutional Business Head, Extra marks, Delhi-NCR, Ms. Shivani Rana, Project Coordinator, Jonas Software, Canada Mr. Abhay Raj, CSR, Zara and Ms. Priya Baisla, Captain Delhi Hurricanes, Rugby Club Team. The Rolling Trophy for Athletic Meet 2023 was bagged by Sigma House under the guidance of their house warden, Ms. Savita Sheoran along with her team and in the field of Co Curricular activities it went to Delta House wisely led by Ms. Sunita Joshi Ma’am and her team.
On 28th July 2023, the School organized a Science Exhibition and Best Out Of Waste in its school premises. The Chief Guest for this occasion was Dr Divya Aggarwal, Employees State Insurance Health Care India. Beta House bagged the first prize, Alpha House took the second prize and Delta House achieved the third prize.
The School observed Vigilance Awareness week 2023 on Nov.4-,2023 at the Convention Centre. The VAW was guided and patroned by the CBSE.
From time to time, the school also conducts various workshops and seminars to update the teachers and students about the latest trends in education.
